(BMV: TELMEX; NYSE: TMX; NASDAQ: TFONY, LATIBEX: XTMXL) informs that in spite of obtaining a favorable resolution from the Federal Courts regarding the Convergence Agreement to offer Pay TV services,  the company received a resolution, which will be challenged in due time, from the “Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes” (Mexico’s Communications and Transportation Ministry) denying, at this time, TELMEX’s request to modify its Concession to offer Pay TV services. TELMEX regrets that the benefits of technological convergence and competition are being postponed which harms consumers.
